Coming Soon – Open Source Squeak Book!

Last week at ESUG, co-author Stéphane Ducasse announced a new book will be available in mid-September entitled “Squeak By Example“. First released as a beta version, and totally free and open-source, you can find out more at the book’s website.

    finally!!! hope that this will not be a dead end road and get me and a lot others (previously overwhelmed and lost in the chaotic squeak swiki) tune into squeak (smalltalk) again …

    This is great news!

    I have also been toying with the idea of ordering either the classic Blue Book (as a reference), or Chamond Liu’s text, as an introduction to the Smalltalk world – even though I have been playing with Squeak in the main.
